Sleaford 1940s Day Event - Saturday 28th June 2025
The Sleaford 1940s Day event will return this year on Saturday 28th June 2025!
This fantastic event will be brought to you by Sleaford Town Council, in partnership with the William Alvey. The event will be held at the School from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
The Mayor of Sleaford, the Town Crier and the William Alvey School will open the event at 11.00am and the day's entertainment will then begin!
We will have singers, dancers, musicians, air raid shelter tours, living history displays, stalls, food and drink, Punch and Judy shows, animals, "Dig For Victory" Plant and Grow Your Own Vegetables activities for children, horse carriage rides, historic vehicles, vintage children's fair ride, face painting, balloon modelling, bouncy castles, vintage games and a vintage style hairdresser.
There will be deckchairs available (first come first served) to watch the entertainment from, or bring a chair and a picnic and make a day of it!
