Community Engagement regarding George Street Play Area

Sleaford Town Council has been awarded funding for George Street Play Area.

We recognise that regular play and exercise are essential for physical, social and emotional well-being.

Play areas provide an essential amenity to communities and are often neighbourhood gathering places, bringing children, parents, carers and neighbours together.

We would like to know would you and your family use the George Street Play Area more if there were:

Picnic tables, benches and more litter bins.

New children's play equipment, such as bucket swings and climbing frames.

New and improved pathways.

Adult fitness equipment.

Football goals.

Refurbished basketball and multi-sports court.

Wild flower and planted areas.

Something else.

Please email enquiries@sleaford.gov.uk with your thoughts or message our Facebook page, Sleaford Town Council by 7th November 2022.

Or write your thoughts on the consultation leaflet which will be delivered to the catchment houses in the George Street Play Area and send or drop in to Sleaford Town Council, Sleaford Town Hall, Quayside House, Navigation Yard, Sleaford, Lincs, NG34 7TW.
