Job Vacancy - Services Team Leader
(6 month fixed term contract)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, skilled and organised individual to manage, supervise and lead grounds maintenance and street cleaning operations across parks, open spaces, amenity open spaces across Sleaford, as well as the town centre.
You will primarily be responsible for a team of 7 based in Sleaford and as a hands on Team Leader you will have significant experience in Grounds Maintenance work including work planning, organising teams, scheduling and supervising and supporting staff. You will have good communication skills and be experienced in a customer focused role.
You will be expected to work outdoors throughout the fixed term period of this contract. You will have a demonstrable positive approach and take pride in the work that we do. You will be able to demonstrate high standards of behaviour and professionalism in dealing with the public and staff.
A valid driver's licence is essential.
This is a full-time post (37 hours per week) and some weekend working will be required as part of a rota. The annual salary will be between £20,092 to £22,183 (£10.44 to £11.53 per hour) dependent on experience. Supplements are payable for weekend working. NJC rates of pay and associated terms & conditions also apply. The post holder would be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
