Notification of upcoming night works to Holdingham Roundabout

Holdingham Roundabout Improvement Scheme

Eurovia have been appointed by Lincolnshire County Council to carry out improvement works to the A15/A17 Holdingham Roundabout in Sleaford. Works will commence on 15th February 2021 and are scheduled to be completed in December 2021.

To enable us to carry out work safely, traffic management (lane closures, barriers etc) will be implemented throughout the duration of the works. Initial work will be undertaken during night-time hours, in various locations around the roundabout. A period of up to 4 weeks is scheduled, where narrowed lanes and temporary traffic signals will be in place. Traffic flows are at a minimum during night-time hours therefore this initial preparation work will be carried out by Eurovia during this time.

Once preparation work has been completed, main daytime works will commence. Traffic management will remain in place and a speed restriction of 30mph will be implemented throughout the works for the safety of our workforce and all road users. Later in the year, night-time road closures and weekend one-way road closures will be necessary. In addition to direct contact, these changes will be advertised on road-side information signs.

Our experienced onsite teams are aware of the impact that road improvement schemes have on road users, residents, businesses, emergency services and members of the public. It is our priority to work closely with everyone involved to ensure that you are well informed throughout the scheme and that we minimise disruption as far as possible.

As the dedicated Public Liaison Officer assigned to the scheme, working on behalf of Eurovia Contracting and our client, Lincolnshire County Council, regular site visits to all businesses will be maintained once the scheme is up and running. A regular 'Construction Update Report' we be made available and will include updates of any changes to the road layout, such as lane changes etc. The updates are available to all interested parties. Please forward your contact details if you wish to receive the updates or please do give me a call. Adhering to Data Protection guidelines, (GDPR) your information will only be available to me and will not be shared with any third party. Once the scheme is completed your information will be deleted.

A monthly scheme update will be published by Lincolnshire County Council, this can be found online www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/majorprojects

We thank you in advance for your patience regarding the upcoming works.

Please feel free to contact me, should you have any queries regarding the scheme, I will be happy to help where possible with any concerns you may have. I will be based onsite and can be contacted by email joanne.plews@eurovia.co.uk or via the telephone number below.
