Yesterday, the Mayor of Sleaford presented an oak sapling and certificate to a local resident who was the first to purchase one as part of the Mayor's Tree Fundraising Initiative. The annual Sleaford Town Awards event usually takes place in April, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, things will be a little different this year.
