The Mayor of Sleaford is holding a Tree Fundraising Initiative in order to raise money for more trees to be purchased and planted in Sleaford. The Mayor has grown 20 oak tree saplings and these are available to purchase at only £10.00 each for people to take away, plant at home and watch them grow. The Sleaford Christmas Market for 2020 will take place this year in an exciting, different format. The event won't be held on Advent Sunday as we do usually, but instead, we will be holding "Twelve Market Days of Christmas" Markets in Sleaford Market Place during the end of November and through December.

Following discussions by the Sleaford Christmas Market Group, supported by Sleaford Town Council, the difficult decision has been made to cancel this year's Market.
