Mayor of Sleaford's Charity Burns Night Celebration

The Mayor of Sleaford, Councillor Linda Edwards-Shea, is very pleased to invite you to a Charity Burns Night celebration in Sleaford on Saturday 21st January 2023. Arrival is from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start and the evening will end at 11.00pm.
Guests are invited to join the Mayor for a delicious three course dinner at the Solo Bar and Restaurant, 6 Market Street, Sleaford, Lincs, NG34 7SF.
Entertainment will be provided by the renowned Celtic Folk/Rock Band "The Band From County Hell" who have seven critically acclaimed albums and over 2,000 performances. They are certain to get you in the mood for a brilliant Burns Night celebration!
There will be a raffle for the Mayor's chosen charities on the night which are EDAN Lincs and the RAF Association.
Tickets are £39.00 per person and these are available from Sleaford Town Council, Sleaford Town Hall, Quayside House, Navigation Yard, Sleaford, Lincs, NG34 7TW.

Mayor of Sleaford's Sleaford Slam Poetry Contest

The Mayor of Sleaford, Councillor Linda Edwards-Shea, is very pleased to invite you to a Charity Sleaford Slam Poetry Contest.
This event will be held on Saturday 25th February 2023 at the Sleaford Playhouse Theatre. 7.00pm arrival for a 7.30pm start.
Tickets are available to purchase from www.sleafordplayhouse.co.uk or telephone 0333 666 3366. Everyone will receive a free raffle ticket upon entry.
£12.00 per ticket for spectators (over 18s), £8.00 per ticket for under 18s, students and over 65s.
The Poetry Contest is open to all ages! Write three poems and submit them to the Mayor, who will then select the entries in advance. Those entrants selected will then take part in the Sleaford Slam Contest on the evening of 25th February!
