Sunday, 4th June, 1922 saw the unveiling and dedication of the War Memorial in the Market Place.

Sleaford War Memorial

'The War Memorial in front of the Parish Church of St Deny's, six steps to a hexagonal stone base with niches with cusped heads containing the names of the dead and supports three statues of warrior kings and a slender shaft terminating in a Rood.'
